About
Community health and community health workers (CHWs) are crucial to primary health care, health equity, and universal health coverage (UHC). This webinar will provide a global overview of country-level progress in community health and policies that support CHW accreditation and compensation, including tools and resources for tracking and advocacy. In addition, hear firsthand from representatives of Ministries of Health, civil society, and the community health workforce as they share their experiences with locally-led solutions for financing and scaling up community health programs in Guinea and Zanzibar.
This webinar was organized by the Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator, the Community Health Impact Coalition, and D-Tree as a part of the 2024 Health Systems Strengthening Learning Series to advance knowledge about USAID’s Health Systems Strengthening Learning Agenda.
