The Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator is initiating the “Strategic Communication for Rehabilitation in Universal Health Coverage (UHC)” activity to support rehabilitation stakeholders in engaging in strategic communication and advocacy efforts to promote rehabilitation in UHC. Over 8-10 months, participating countries will apply the JLN Strategic Communication for UHC Practical Guide and accompanying Planning Tool to identify communication priorities for rehabilitation and develop an action plan to implement and monitor communication activities. Throughout this process, participants will learn to conduct practical foundational analyses, identify and analyze key stakeholders, prioritize audiences, develop key messages, and choose tactics to deliver messages, including using data to promote advocacy for rehabilitation in UHC. The technical facilitation team is launching a call for countries to express interest in participating. The deadline for EOI submissions is May 26, 2023.
